Obsessed
Obsessed (2009)

IMDB rating: 3.80

Plot: A successful asset manager, who has just received a huge promotion, is blissfully happy in his career and in his marriage. But a temp worker starts stalking him, all the things he’s worked so hard for are placed in jeopardy.

Directors: Steve Shill

Actors: Elba Idris,McGill Bruce,Rogge Ron,Humphreys Matthew,Johnson Derek,Joyner Paul,Ketsios George,Munoz Antonio,O’Connell Jerry,Rowland Jon,Ruccolo Richard,Drama,Thriller,

Is this person mad, eccentic, or do they have a disorder; they are obsessed with animals, not in a practical?
caring way so they may help them, like a vet, but they follow them guessing what they’re saying to each other, talking about them frantically and excitedly, pointing and reporting on their movement, even walking out into a busy road to follow them, oblivious to their surroundings. When the person watches an animal rescue programme they wave and say hello to the animals on tv. Basically they are way over the top. They also have a very overactive imagination, they believe in fairies and have their 11 year old child still believing in Santa, leaving him open to teasing at school.
Could this be a form of Autism?

Hmm…Tis certainly eccentric and they are taking it a bit far. I don’t think it’s a sign of Autism though, I think that would have been picked up on a long time ago.

I don’t think there’s anything you can do about it yourself, I think in their state you can’t do anything to make it change.
Nefetiti | Feb 05, 2010

It could be, but it could also be gangaism. Does the person smoke pot? Sounds like it! Maybe they are just wildly imaginative and prefer to view the world this way. It’s no less realistic than someone who is constantly morose and obsessed with death and destruction.

Different strokes for different folks, but hell, if they’re walking out into a busy road they are probably off!

Animals deserve attention a lot more than humans.
This thought came to me when i tried to classify your species and i realized your not actually mammals, every mammal on this planet instinctively develops a natural equilibrium with its surrounding environment, but you humans do not. You move to an area and you move to an area and you multiply and multiple until every natural resource is consumed, the only way you can survive is to spread to another area. There is another organism that follows the same pattern, do you know what it is?
A virus, human beings are a disease, a cancer of this planet.
bronson | Feb 05, 2010

People with Autism do empathize with animals, case in point Temple Brandon. However they can also express themselves in ways garnered from their childhood books or memories i.e. fairies. There are common presenting symptoms between Autism and schizophrenia. Interacting with objects or people that are not there as an adult with no learning disabilities would seem to be an hallucination and delusion and would seem to indicate schizophrenia.

IMDB rating: 7.30

Plot: When a terrorist bomb detonates inside a Western housing compound in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, an international incident is ignited. While diplomats slowly debate equations of territorialism, FBI Special Agent Ronald Fleury quickly assembles an elite team and negotiates a secret five-day trip into Saudi Arabia to locate the madman behind the bombing. Upon landing in the desert kingdom, however, Fleury and his team discover Saudi authorities suspicious and unwelcoming of American interlopers into what they consider a local matter. Hamstrung by protocol-and with the clock ticking on their five days-the FBI agents find their expertise worthless without the trust of their Saudi counterparts, who want to locate the terrorist in their homeland on their own terms. Fleury’s crew finds a like-minded partner in Saudi Colonel Al-Ghazi, who helps them navigate royal politics and unlock the secrets of the crime scene and the workings of an extremist cell bent on further destruction. With these unlikely allies sharing a propulsive commitment to crack the case, the team is led to the killer’s front door in a blistering do-or-die confrontation. Now in a fight for their own lives, strangers united by one mission won’t stop until justice is found in The Kingdom.

I have great news to all Saudis?
I’m so proud to be a Saudi , Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was recorded to be the country with the "least" rape rates in the world, out of 65 countries, we are #65 … and it’s only 65 because 90% of Africa is not on the list among other troubled countries…

http://www.nationmaster.com/graph/cri_ra p_percap-crime-rapes-per-capita

So, anyone who asks how safe KSA is, just give him or her this link :P

God I love this country :D
LOOOL @Gamar, Maybe because your country is among the troubled countries with extreme high rates, Just kidding :P
Thanks ya Gamar

My country of origin is not even on the list ,yeeey we are better then you looool

Im just joking, Im glad to hear that, if is relevant info. Thanx for sharing
gamar_xx | Feb 01, 2010

I am glad for you. But - to be fair you have to admit that many rape cases in Islamic countries don’t get reported. How many women maybe don’t report being raped because she might get punished for adultery? Do you think that a raped maid has the possibility to file a case against a Saudi citizen?
Almost the same here in the UAE (that’s maybe why we are even not on the list:))

You also may not forget that some of the mentioned countries consider also forced sex in a marriage as rape. This isn’t the case in Saudi either.

As much as you love your country, you still should be aware of non reported incidents instead of turning a blind eye on them.

Take care.

How do you like this small part of my story? (based on a dream)?
I walked hesitantly in to my mother’s house, being dragged by my little sister Jade, who was holding on to the hand that wasn’t wrapped around my son. I never did like my mom, she’s been an alcoholic for as long as I can remember and kicking me out at 13 didn’t really help matters much. Jade, still only 4, is much to young to remember how mom treated her before my grandparents came to get her. Jade now lives with us. Yes, us. Me, my grandparents, and my 8 month old son Matthew.
I suppose I should be in a better mood, I hadn’t seen my mother in months and we were decorating for Christmas after all. Christmas is supposed to be a time for family, for forgiveness, right? "Jade!" My mother’s voice rang out, clear and drunk. As usual. She was bent down with a warm, fake smile plastered on her pretty face, her arms spread open for my sister to run in to. Jade let go of my hand, leaving me free to enter as slowly as I pleased and ran in to mom’s arms.
At first glance, mom looked sober. She looked like she’d been taking very good care of herself. The house was cleaned, the lights were on and the blinds were open, exposing the sparking thick blanket of shining white snow outside. Mom was actually dressed today, in jeans and a navy blue v-neck knit sweater. Her long black hair was curled, and she had a little bit of makeup on. The thing that gave her away were her eyes, slightly glazed over with big pupils. Then her voice, deeper then usual. She had slightly slurred Jade’s name.
Mom stood up with Jade in her arms much as I held Matthew, and opened her arms for me. "Emma." She slurred softly. I narrowed my eyes and kept my ground. "Hi mom." Something flashed in her eyes and she dropped her arm, cutting off any chances I had of a welcoming hug. "You didn’t call to tell me you had a son." I spoke slowly, tightening my arm around Matt. "I didn’t call to tell you I was pregnant. I’m sorry. I don’t think I could have done it. I didn’t really want my baby around all the cigarette smoke and alcohol." Granddad and Grandma came in then, carrying boxes of ornaments and lights. "Hey now." Granddad chided. "Don’t argue, let’s decorate."
I wasn’t in much of a decorating mood anymore. I wanted to yell and shout and get everything off my back. About how much I really did miss mom, about how I did want to tell her about the baby, she was a teen mom to, she could have helped but I just didn’t want to put up with her assumptions and accusations! Instead of saying anything, I sat Matthew down on the floor with a toy and began silently decorating the tree mom had put up just hours before we arrived.
"So, Emma how old are you now?" Mom asked in what seemed like just an attempt of being friendly as she took a small sip of what looked, and smelled like expensive red wine. I could hear honest curiosity burning in her voice though, proving just how much she cared enough to keep up with my life. "Just turned sixteen." I replied cooly. Mom looked stunned. "A son so young? That’s irresponsible." I turned to look at her, my mouth hanging open. "Excuse me?" I squeaked. "But if I remember correctly you were what, fourteen when you gave birth to me? Don’t you dare lecture me about being irresponsible! I never drank anything more then a few glasses of wine in my life, I don’t smoke, and I don’t totally ignore my child! I care, and no way would I kick him out when he turned thirteen because he was fed up with my drinking! I would stop! Because I care about other people, not just myself mom and you would know that if you cared to be sober for one night!" I couldn’t help but let my voice rise to a shout, and slowly, I saw Granddad and Grandma quietly usher Jade out of the room, promising her a fresh batch of brownies.
"This is why I hate Christmas." Mom said, keeping her voice level. "Everyone is always mad. It’s just not what it used to be." I frowned, she was avoiding talking about how ruined she’d let her life become. "And who’s fault is that?" I snapped back, my voice quivering from the strain of holding itself back. "Five days. Five days I stayed sober and alone Emma and you didn’t bother to call, or come by to see how I was doing or anything!" Mom finally let her voice rise, and the venom dripping from it made me flinch. "I was pregnant…I…you could have called me, you know! If I would have known you were alone AND sober, I would have come by mother! Sometimes you, have to be the one to call me!" I started out as a whisper, but it quickly turned heated and urgent. "To bad your to lazy to even pick up the cell phone I bought you, WITH MY OWN MONEY, and call me!"
Mom was shaking her head, smiling slightly. Sarcastically. "Damn Emma, I just love how sarcastic you are." I scoffed and spat, "You sure as hell act like it!" Mom was silent for a little while, searching my face. She downed the rest of her wine, then glanced at Matthew, playing
It was some dream, and no I don’t have that good a memory actually. Some dreams just REALLY stand out and say something to me. Those are the ones I remember. This one touched me in a way I can’t explain, and I just HAD to write it down. I like it, and hope you all do to.

thats really good :)) wow thats all from a dream, you have a great memory :) i like it a lot :) i like the friction between her mom and her, it adds the drama and makes it a lot more interesting. i think you should deffently carry this out and write a novel from it :)

Why do soo many people think hardcore moshing is a joke?
Or has it become a joke?? People consider it "Emo kids dancing" and "Kung fu fighting" Any videos I find online are garbage pits I’ll admit. Maybe we get good venues were Im from. I dont know. I think the majority of people dont understand how insane it gets at good shows. Or maybe everyone is a bunch of pussies now… Go to a First Blood Acacia Strain show or something… Or take a time machine back to Hellfest when it was in Syracuse. People would be horrified of the pits and anywhere near it. Nevermind just go catch a Deadwater Drowning reunion show.. Im ranting. Whatever.
I should add I this rant is basically based on the fact that no one thinks its brutal and its a bunch of pussies dancing around… Broken jaws my friend.

I think it has a lot to do with what is on youtube. But mostly I think it has to do with the kids that don’t know how to dance and they do it at the "emo" shows. I heard a story of two girls who were dancing to Silverstein in Target and someone said, "What the fuck?!" And they replied, "Ew, she is wearing a Bane shirt." When I look at this crap online about how slam dancing is for pussies it is always used with the phrase, "emo fags."

I don’t know how a push pit could be more brutal, I have seen more injuries from people crowd surfing then push pitting.

I haven’t seen any broken jaws, but lots of broken noses and people not being able to eat right for two weeks.

i have seen some shit go down in those pits but i go to pittsburgh and see built upon frustrastion and GOD DAMN!!! haha even 25 ta life had it down…

but alot of people act like its a joke until someones face gets smashed buy the bass players bass..ive seen it happen lol..
but the point of the pit isnt too get there and hurt people ether…

it shows the bands that are playin you feel there anger..and the pitt is too release that anger..you knock some one down you pick them back up and give them a pat on the back..now dont get me wrong there are alot of assholes who show up at these shows and like too start shit…but i hoped i helped

Star Trek: Insurrection (1998)

IMDB rating: 6.40

Plot: Engage! Captain Jean-Luc Picard and his Next Generation crew are back. From the beginning of the Federation, the Prime Directive was clear: no Starfleet expedition may interfere with the natural development of other civilizations. But now Picard is confronted with orders that undermine that decree. If he obeys, 600 peaceful residents of Ba’ku will be forcibly removed from their remarkable world, all for the reportedly greater good of millions who will benefit from the Ba’ku’s Fountain of Youth-like powers. If he disobeys, he will risk his Starship, his career, his life. But for Picard, there’s really only one choice. He must rebel against Starfleet . . . and lead the insurrection to preserve Paradise.

Star Trek Movies in reference to the Original Series?
I am watching Star Trek: TOS right now because I finished Star Trek: Voyager (which is total love by the way) and I am confused where do the Star Trek movies fit into the series timeline?

I know that Star Trek (the movie) currently in theaters is a prequel to the series, but where do the othe movies fit? Do they all take place after the seventh season, in between two and three, what?

Here’s a list of the movies if it wil be of any help:

Star Trek the Movie
Wrath of Khan
Search for Spock
Voyage Home
The Final Frontier
Generations
First Contact
Insurrection
The Undiscovered Country
Nemesis

These 6 take place after the original Star Trek TV series which was set in the 2260’s:
Star Trek the Movie
Wrath of Khan
Search for Spock
Voyage Home
The Final Frontier
The Undiscovered Country

These take place after Star Trek: The Next Generation which takes place about 75 - 100 years after the original show:
Generations
First Contact
Insurrection
The Undiscovered Country
Nemesis

The current movie takes place after the Enterprise TV series (in the 2150’s), but before the original Star Trek TV series.

Voyager was set in the 2370’s. Deep Space 9 was in the Next Generation period.

It only rolls when everything is coming into place, and when things are revealed that they aren’t what they seem.

How do I keep my desk chair from squeaking when rocking?
I got a really nice leather office chair for my house, but within a few weeks, it started squeaking when rocking. This has happened to me with all my other desk chairs with the rocking function. The squeak seems to be coming from the spring that allows the chair to rock (the one you tighten or loosen, depending on how you like it), but the spring is entirely covered by the plastic knob used to tighten it. Since it’s covered, I can’t really get to it with WD40, even when using that straw thing it comes with. I’m not overloading the chair, since I only weigh 170 lbs, so I’m not quite sure what to do about the squeak. Any suggestions?

if you back the plastic knob out all the way to the point it comes off you can use the straw and give it a couple squirts

or you can remove the four bolts in the base of the chair and seat frame remove the seat and back as one unit the spring will be completely open to viewing and you can squirt it then

In Spore can you sucessfully reduce or eliminate the rate of pirate raids/unkown attackers/natural disasters?
I just want to play my game without having to run back and forth saving the enviorment and raiders. I am not saying I need to be vulnerable from aliens who don’t like me, but those situations are temporary when raiders and disasters will happen all the time forever. Links and hellp would be greatly appreciated. Please don’t write saying I’m cheating or whatever.

It’s a really good game, once you reduce the enviro and raiding issues.

There is a kinda "complicated" fix where you patch your internal prefs files

backing up your original files pref files
unpacking them
fixing them / setting values how you like
packing them up again
enjoy.
